Mediation is a voluntary, cooperative settlement process in which a neutral professional helps those involved in a dispute make practical, informed decisions to resolve their differences.
This web site explains the basics of mediation and why it is frequently the best method for resolving disputes. Those with questions are welcome to contact me for more information.
My analogy for litigation is found in the process whereby heat is applied to iron ore to create steel. Unfortunately, on occasions, too much heat is applied and you end up with a molten mess. Mediation is an easier, softer way to resolve anger, pain and disagreement, and create a mutually acceptable resolution for you and your child(ren).
People experiencing separation and divorce often feel that their lives are stuck in a conclusion. Every day they awake to the same issues on their plate, over and over again, like the movie, "Ground Hog Day". These people who realize that their lives are stuck in a conclusion, need an ending so that they may experience a new beginning - only then may healing start. I would be honored if you would allow me to assist you and accompany you on this journey as your mediator. Thank you.
